Paweł Sałek

Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science of the Częstochowa University of Technology. Paweł Sałek completed the International MBA programme at the Centre for Management Training, Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University, as well as the post-graduate studies in the field of International Relations and Diplomacy in the Institute of Political Sciences of the College of Social and Media Culture in Torun and Post-Graduate Inter-Academic Study of Assessment and Valuation of Environmental Resources of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and Warsaw School of Economics.

Paweł Sałek continues his scientific career in the Forest Research Institute. The subject of his PhD thesis is: ‘Carbon stocks in the upper layers of the afforested post-agricultural soils on the example of pine stands of the coniferous forest sites’.

He acted as the Director of the Academic Center for Ecological Education of the Independent Students' Association. Paweł Sałek was also appointed the Director of the City Cleaning Management of the Capital City of Warsaw, and earlier the Deputy Head of the Municipal Economy and Environmental Division Department of the City Office in Skierniewice.

Founder and the first head of the National Administrator of the Emission Trading Scheme in the Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute (National Center of Emission Balancing and Management). He has also worked in the National Emission Center.

In recent years, he worked at the position of Vice-President of the Management Board and Technical and Exploitation Director in the Radom Heat Energy Company RADPEC SA in Radom.
