24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change / 14th Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to Kyoto Protocol will be held in Katowice, Poland from 3-14 December 2018.

“Electromobility is a technology of tomorrow. We have ambitions for Poland to contribute to global climate policy. We want to help create global trends by proposing a global Partnership and an annual Forum in this area,” said Secretary of State at the Ministry of Environment, President of COP24 Michał Kurtyka, who presented an international project for the development of electromobility. Towards COP24

Today, Minister of Environment Henryk Kowalczyk signed an agreement with the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Poland, defining the obligations of both parties resulting from the organisation of the December COP24 climate summit in Katowice. On behalf of the UN, the agreement was signed by Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Read more Towards COP24
