On 21-27 August 2008, Mr. Janusz Zaleski, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment, and the Polish COP14 Organisational Team still participate to the Accra Climate Change Talks 2008, in Ghana
  
Since 21 August 2008, the last of the working meetings before the COP 14 to be held in Poznan, Poland, as named the Accra Climate Change Talks 2008, continues in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. The Polish Delegation is headed by Mr. Janusz Zaleski, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment. Ms. Ma³gorzata Snarska, Director of the COP 14 Organisational Team, and Mr. Tomasz Kayser, City Mayor of Poznan, also participate. They will both present their specific addresses on preparation to the COP 14 in Poland. Mr. Tomasz Kayser delivered presentation on the relevant events accompanying this-year Climate Change Conference to be held in this city. Mr. Janusz Reiter, Ambassador for Climate and Ms. Joanna Maækowiak-Pandera, Chief of the Minister's Political Office, Ministry of the Environment, also participate. The meeting was inaugurated by Mr. John Kufuor, President of Ghana.

The Accra Climate Change Talks 2008 is the third and last in this year the session being of significant importance also to the Poznan Climate Change Conference. More than 1000 representatives from about 190 countries participate. A number of meetings is being held between the national representatives to facilitate their participation in and discussion of the issues to be negotiated at COP 14
