Warsaw, 8 August 2008 On 4 August 2005, Mr. Donald Tusk, Prime Minister, Republic of Poland, upon personal proposal submitted by Professor Maciej Nowicki, Minister of the Environment, appointed Mr. Bernard Błaszczyk as the Under-Secretary of State, at Ministry of the Environment. Mr. Bernard Błaszczyk's scope of responsibility includes overall matters pertaining to climate change and CO2 emissions, as well as of waste management.
