Warsaw, 30 July 2008 The meeting was attended also by Ms. Salwa Dallalah, Coordinator, Conference Affairs Services, Secretariat UNFCCC, being the organiser of the Climate Change Conference, Ms. Katarzyna Parysek, Plenipotentiary of the President of the Town of Poznan for the Conference affairs, and Ms. Małgorzata Snarska, Director, COP14 Organisational Team, Ministry of the Environment. The aim of the meeting was to present the current status of preparations being held in Poland to host this tremendous event - COP14/MOP4 - the most important political world climate summit. Dr. Małgorzata Snarska Director, COP14 Organisational Team, provided brief presentation of tasks under management by the Team in spite of this forthcoming event. She also mentioned the Agreement concluded with hotel owners in Poznan to accommodate a uniform room reservation and prepayment system and provided comments on smooth course of the reservation work managed so far. Continuously enhancing private accommodation opportunities will provide additional facilities to the participants during their stay in Poznan at the time of the Conference. Professor Maciej Nowicki, added some comments expressing his satisfaction because of well managed preparatory Conference arrangements. Ms. Katarzyna Parysek, Plenipotentiary of the President of the Town of Poznan for the Conference affairs, made comments on some additional attractions to be organised in form of cultural events arranged especially by the Poznan Municipal Authorities as designated to the Conference participants. Comments were also added concerning negotiations being carried out with many TV Stations worldwide which are interested to transmit the Conference broadcasts. MS. Salwa Dallalah, Coordinator,

with the Polish organisers. She said she is deeply convinced that the current
organisational effort will produce positive effects.
