Warsaw, 21 July 2008 On 23 July 2008, Professor Maciej Nowicki, Minister of the Environment, and Mr. Cezary Grabarczyk, Minister of Infrastructure, give their joint briefing to be held at Ministry of the Environment. Their briefing is dedicated to discussion of the issues which relate to the Draft Act on the public participation in environmental protection and on environmental impact assessment, and the proposal to establish new environmental agency being the Directorate General of Environmental Protection. The change proposed in existing legal framework and the reform of environmental services is aimed at speeding up the major important investments in Poland.
