On 26 June 2008, Mr. Stavros Dimas, the EU Commissioner for Environment will be hosted by Professor Maciej Nowicki, Minister of the Environment

At 17.00 hrs, briefing is given jointly by both Statesment at Ministry of the Environment.  

The issues do discuss are following: Poland's position concerning the Climate and Energy Package, the current status of implementation of Natura 2000 European Ecological Network in Poland, and the arrangements being made to organise the 14th Conference of the Parties (COP14) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, serving as the 4th Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (MOP4) that is to be held in this December in Poland.
