Warsaw, 23 June 2008 Mr. Janusz Zaleski, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment, participates to the international conference titled "Science for practice. The role and importance of ectomycorrhiza for optimum growth and development of forest trees - 10 years of implementation of the programme to implement the Polish technology of mycorrhization of forest tree seedlings in the "State Forests" National Holding". The participants will familiarise with the results of scientific research and economic effects of implementation of the programme of the Polish controlled technology of mycorrhization of forest tree seedlings, as achieved during the recent 10 years. They will also identify the perspectives of and challenges for this discipline for the years to come. The conference is accompanied
by a field session to be held in the area of the Rudy Raciborskie Forest
Inspectorate.
