Warsaw, 23 June 2008 On 30 June 2008, Professor Maciej Nowicki, Minister of the Environment, meets the representatives of non-governmental organisations. The issues in the agenda include preparation for and implementation of the GIS and organisation of the 14th Conference of the Parties (COP14) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, serving as the 4th Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (MOP4) that is to be held on 1-12 December, 2008, in Poznan, Poland, as well as presentation of the actions aimed at counteracting climate change.
