Warsaw, 6 June 2008 The Chief National Geologist participates to meeting on the impacts from the Tomisławice open cast brown coal mine on the Gopło Lake On 9 June 2008, Mr. Henryk Jacek Jezierski, Under Secretary of State, Chief National Geologist meets a group of researchers of the Faculty of Biology of the Adam Mickiewicz University, in Poznan. Their discussion will concern
the environmental issues which relate to construction of the Tomisławice
open cast brown coal mine and the expected impacts thereof on the Gopło
Lake.
