Consortium for prospecting the geological structures
suitable for safe storage of carbon dioxide and monitoring thereof
    
    
the Polish Geological Institute, the AGH University of Technology and Science, the Central Mining Institute, the Mineral & Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Oil and Gas Institute, and the PBG Geophysical Exploration Company Ltd., signed their joint contract forming Consortium for prospecting geological structures suitable for safe storage of carbon dioxide and monitoring thereof. The Contract sets forth the cooperation principles between the aforementioned entities in the field of geological storage of carbon dioxide. The Polish Geological Institute is the Leading  Partner of the Consortium which prepared project covering the responsibilities and activity scope of the National Geological and Hydro-Geological Service, as well as other entities which collaborate under the "National Programme for prospecting geological structures suitable for safe storage of carbon dioxide and monitoring thereof ".
