On 30 May 2008, Dr. Henryk Jacek Jezierski, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment, Chief National Geologist, visited the Jurassic Park, in Bałtów The Park was established in 2004 soon after first discoveries of tracks of the Late Jurassic dinosaurs - Allosaurus, Stegosaurus, Camptosaurus and Compsognatus. It is the only site of such type in Poland where the giant, natural scaled models of the dinosaurs are located, the tracks of which were found in the Holy Cross Mountains Region, Poland, and also models of many other dinosaur specimens found worldwide. New models of Triceratops and Stegosaurus herds are under construction, while other were completed in 2007. The Jurassic Park, in Bałtów provides an excellent promotion for the Holy Cross Mountains Region which attracts huge number of tourists from all over Poland. http://www.baltowskipark.pl/index.php
