On 19 May 2008, in Zielona Góra, Mr. Janusz Zaleski, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment, participates to the National Conference titled "Hunting losses in agriculture"

The conference is aimed at discussion of the need to amend the Polish legislation in the scope of compensatory measures concerning losses caused by animals of game and protected animals. 

The conference includes two thematic panels: (1) "The Pros and Cons of the Current Hunting Law in Poland", and (2) "The role and cooperation managed by Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Ministry of the Environment with non-governmental organisations to develop legal provisions on estimation of hunting losses." 

The participants will also undertake the topics such as the estimation of hunting losses in agriculture, the economic effects of hunting losses for agricultural farms, and the model solutions in the scope of hunting losses in other countries, on the example of Germany. 

Members of Parliament, representatives of Governmental administrative authorities, self-governmental entities, and agricultural circles will participate to the conference.  
  
The conference is organised by the National Council of Agricultural Chambers. It will be held at the Column Hal, of the Office of the Speaker of the Local Parliament of the Lubuskie Voivodship, in Zielona Góra.
