Warsaw, 15 May 2008 (16-17 May 2008, in Międzyzdroje) Dr. Maciej Trzeciak, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment, Chief Nature Conservator, participates to training course managed by Nature Conservation Service of the Western Pomeranian Voivodship (i.e. Province), as titled "Seeking for dialogue on solving the problems which emerge on the Natura 2000 sites". The programme of the present training course covers the issues which emerge for the Western Pomeranian Voivodships from the results of the National Biological and Geographic Seminar, and the activities on and surveillance over the Natura 2000 sites within the range of the boundaries of the National Parks and landscape parks. Besides, the representatives of the Environmental Protection Agency of the German State of Mecklenburg who will attend the training course will provide information on their experience in the field of natural compensation activities and preparation of the management plans for Natura 2000 sites. The programme issues to be discussed in the first day of the training course include also those pertaining to social communication in scope of solving the conflicts which emerge on the Natura 2000 sites. Dr. M. Trzeciak will deliver address on new Ministerial concepts in the scope of designation and implementation of the Natura 2000 network. The representatives of the Ministerial Department of the National Forms of Nature Conservation and Department of Natura 2000 Sites will deliver presentations on the current status of work on the Natura 2000 Network and the Ministerial guidance in the scope of preparation of the management plans for natural reserves and landscape parks and those for the Natura 2000 sites. The training course will
be held in the Woliński National Park, on Mt. Biała Góra (White Mountain),
in Międzyzdroje.
