"Cooperation between Poland and Denmark is crucial for reaching political success during the Poznan UNFCCC COP14" - said Professor Maciej Nowicki on the meeting with the Danish Delegation.
The common negotiation strategy is mostly important because it aims at developing of a proposal for new mechanism to replace the Kyoto regulations in 2009, when Denmark is to be the host of the UNFCCC COP14 to be held in Copenhagen.
Besides Minister Maciej Nowicki, the Polish side was represented also by Mr. Janusz Zaleski, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of the Environment, and Professor Maciej Sadowski of the Institute of Environmental Protection.
