The Copenhagen Meeting

On 18 January 2008, in Copenhagen, Denmark, Professor Maciej Nowicki, Minister of the Environment, met Ms. Connie Hedegaard, Danish Minister of Environment and Energy and Mr. Bo Lidegaard, Permanent Under-Secretary of State at the Prime Minister’s Office - top advisor to the Danish Prime Minister regarding issues related to the climate change and the 2009 summit in Copenhagen - COP15. The aim of the meeting was to enter cooperation concerning organization of the UNFCCC COP 14 in Poznan (2008) and COP 15 in Copenhagen (2009). The climate change issues were also discussed, including the international cooperation in this field, as well as the matters of possible organisational assistance pertaining to the Conferences.
