Pupils from the Wanda Turowska Primary School No 115 in Warsaw visited the Ministry of the Environment today. The visit was due to their thirst for knowledge about electronic waste – how to collect, process and reuse it. These and some other questions were answered by Janusz Ostapiuk, Vice-Minister of the Environment.
17 projects in the area of water and sewage management may receive co-financing under the Operational Programme Infrastructure & Environment (OP I&E), for the total amount of PLN 93 million. Janusz Ostapiuk, under-secretary of state at the Ministry of Environment, has confirmed two ranking lists of undertakings submitted in the course of another competition under Priority I – Water and sewage management.
Maciej Grabowski, the Minister of the Environment, and Małgorzata Skucha, the President of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, signed an agreement on the implementation of Operational Programme Infrastructure & Environment (OPI&E) 2014–2020 in the field of environmental protection, including climate change adaptation. The agreement specifies detailed terms and conditions of cooperation on project implementation under the new EU financial perspective.

"Let's invest in the environment together" – such was the motto of the open day at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), during which the programme of the Fund for 2015–2020 was presented. The event was attended by Janusz Ostapiuk, Vice-Minister of the Environment.
Today, the Council of Ministers has adopted a draft Act on waste electrical and electronic equipment. New regulations will contribute to an increased collection of waste in the form of waste electrical and electronic equipment, its recycling and other means of recovery.
Preparations for the verification of German environmental technology dedicated to the processing of waste into construction materials under the European Environmental Technology Verification scheme (ETV) are currently in progress in Poznań. In Poland, ETV implementation is the responsibility of the Ministry of the Environment.
